I am a 27, 2010 Cum Laude graduate of Elizabeth City State University. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English. I currently teach at Bertie Middle School, land of the high flying Phoenix, as a 6th grade English/Language Arts teacher. I also am a dance instructor at Edenton Dance Stars in Edenton, NC. I have 9 years of studio training and many years of dancing outside the studio. I excel in modern, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, pointe, lyrical, liturgical, and choreography. My first experience with choreographed dancing was at the age of 6, where I begin taking dance in a local dance studio in Edenton. Through many years of dancing, I was exposed to various genres of dance. This was a rewarding experience as through dancing, I was taught many valuable lessons which I use and incorporates in the classroom
